Last night I dreamed of a Super Bowl. The Navy and Orange from Illinois stormed the field to play against the red and gold team from Missouri. The stands filled with mostly Bears colors just like it should have been.
Before the game, as I watched on the television, I whispered to myself, “This is DA YEAR for the Bears to win.” Bears have the best Defense in the NFL and Mitch Trubisky was playing like a “Top 5” Quarterback. The wide receivers were playing at a high level, and rookie running back sensation David Montgomery was having a better rookie campaign than Saquon Barkley. Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks were vintage, and Eddie Jackson led the secondary.
The Bears secured the victory. Chicago Bears fans filled the streets of Miami parading ALL NIGHT LONG. The drought was over, and the Chicago Bears were Super Bowl LIV CHAMPS!
Admittedly, I woke up, and it dawned on me that this could happen. As a former player a now avid fan, it is time to speak it into existence. This “DA YEAR” for the Bears! Everything will come into fruition. Remember to revisit this blog Sunday, February 2nd, 2020, when they secure the trophy in Miami!
